Gift for Day # 9 - Acrylic Album Class

This was the Valentine’s gift for day # 9 - Ro and I took an acrylic album class from a LSS - Cord Camera in Macedonia, Ohio. The design for the book was created by Amy at the store. They are offering another class on Feb 21st if anyone is interested.

The album is just beautiful - I signed us up for the class sight unseen *insert worried look here*. As Forest Gump says “Life is like a box of chocolates - You never know what you are going to get!). We LOVED the album - the paper, rub-ons and design! The instructor was fabulous! The interesting part of the class for me was the rub-ons - I have not really worked with them. The rub-ons were easy to use and they are stunning on the album.

Some of the products used: Rock Star paper (Creative Imaginations), acrylic paints, 7Gypies, QuicKutz Icing and American Crafts rub-ons

The cover:

Envelope decorated used as a page - the flap opens #3):

This is a cut acrylic album insert page to give you a skinny page and “chubby” one - the skinny one is where the #4 and the white rub-on is:

This is really neat - this page is a slide holder - isn’t that ingenious!:

Tag inserted as a page:

Hope you enjoyed looking at the gift for day #9.

Just wondering - are any of you class junkies like I am? I love taking paper crafting classes!
