Day 12! Like a dozen roses - but roses are not my favorite flower… They are beautiful and smell wonderful but they die so fast… I prefer wild flowers! Wait this has nothing to do with this tag - hubby there’s a hint for you if you are looking at my blog *wink*.
Today’s tag is my first time using one of those hat/stick pins that are really popular right now… You can see it with the pink and blue beads. The heart (I don’t know the stamp names - I borrowed these from my SIL - nothing like using someone’s stamps to make a gift for them… :0) ) - back to the hearts- were stamped on solid pink and blue Basic Grey Blush paper with VersaMark, embossed and then brayered with SU Choc Chip - this makes the details on the embossed image pop up from the page.
A few of the steps: (a) background of the quote was stamped with SU Carte Postal stamp that I water colored afterwards to take the image down - to make it so it was not so bold (b) number 12 is 1 from SU Collage Numeric & 2 Grungeboard (c) the scrap of blue behind the quote is Wanted (Cosmo Cricket)

Today’s gift is another road trip. Ro and I are going to a Flourishes class at LSS - Stamplistic - I hope the snow will cooperate with us.
