Wonky Flutter

Today’s card is for the Sketch Challenge on SCS - the challenge can be found here : http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=339189

I looked at this challenge late last night and thought….huh - Offset Oval - I’m not too sure about this… But this morning I thought about all my new Butterfly images from Innovative Stamp Creations ( http://www.innovativestampcreations.com/ ) and decided that Flutter wants to fly since the weather is sooo nice!

Wonky Flutter:

There are 5 different butterflies stamped on this card. On the background paper there are line images stamped with Stazon. The main focal butterfly stamped on white CS, colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The flowers were all cut from the background paper. The blue oval is white core so I ran it through my Cuttlebug and sanded it. I added a few buttons and half pearls just to “pretty it up”.

Other info:
Stamps: (all Innovative Stamp Creations) Rustic Artsy Swirls, Art 4 Frames, Assemblage
Inks: Timber Brown (Stazon), Peeled Paint Distress Ink (Ranger)
Paper: Mulberry Meadow (TAC), White

Thanks for stopping in!

Hi Kathy, This card is so beautiful. I love it. I would love to learn your techniques. You should make a video and put it on your blog. If you go to www.kwernerdesign.com/blog you can see some of her examples of what I'm talking about. Every Monday she does a video showing how she makes a card. She named it MACM, (make a card monday). You could have make a card tuesday! Can you imagine having a different person do a video everyday of the week? I am thinking about doing one. Thanks for sharing your talent to Mary in Maine. :)
