Double Dragonflies

…not two Dragonflies but two pockets!

Today’s card is for the Technique Challenge on SCS - Double Pocket Card - you can read more about the challenge here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=340427

Double Dragonfly:

I love the magnifying glass with the Dragonfly and I have wanted to play with it since I received it from Innovative Stamp Creations ( http://www.innovativestampcreations.com/ischomepage.html). There are a number of layers to the Dragonfly focal piece:
Flowers stamped with Choc Chip Ink
Flowers only Gamsol with Prismacolor pencils
Background around the flowers water colored with w/c crayons
Dragonfly stamped on Acetate
Magnify frame Embossed on designer paper
Added to card with dimensionals

The tags (see the cute sewn stitching :0):

Other Info:
Stamps - (all Innovative Stamp Creations) Magnifying glass w/Dragonfly (Artsy Trinkets), flower (Oriental Nature Elements), Sentiments (Flair of Summer)
Inks - VersaMark, Timber Brown Stazon, Choc Chip (SU)
Paper - Peabody (K&Company), Acetate, Very Vanilla
Other - Large Eyelets (WeRMemory Makers), Brown Thread

Thanks for visiting!

Saw this on TJ, didn't I? I know I complimented you, and I'll say it again, this is one gorgeous card. Can you tell I'm behind on my blog subscriptions? I have over 100 unread messages. DT work keeps me busy! justjohanna has a DT call out right now and I'd love to see you on the team. Your work is very fresh.
