I wanted to try something a little different today so I misted and stamped on fabric - tea dyed muslin to be exact:
I used a mask and misted on the fabric background. The fern was stamped using a black paint dabber. The hinge is grunge board and the butterfly is two layers with grunge paper. That black mesh is actually gutter guard material that I snagged from my hubby a while ago (just being green - not a hoarder).

Love this! The misting on the fabric looks subtle, but the black stamping really brings it out! Love it!
Kat this is absolutely FABULOUS!!! I so love the fabric!
The misting on fabric is so pretty. I have never used fabric like that. You are so inspiring!
Love that! I have about 5 yds of muslin & may drag it out. Curious if you misted with Andrionack Color Wash. Hugs, Pat ATT
Thank you so much for your kind words. I really really appreciate it. I too am addicted to stamps, techniques and TH. Unfortunately I am a hoarder. I love what you have done with this challenge. I may give a go at entering this one. Thanks for the heads up. I will be back to visit often. cheers!
I love the different materials you used on this card...Gutter screen??? Really??? Great ideas!
Thanks for sharing!!! :o)
This is so cool, Kat! Butterflies seemed to be a "theme" this week!
It's lovely - I wonder if being on fabric gives a softer effect. I would not have thought of this - I think i've seen some muslin floating about so must experiment.
