Stamping On Fabric

Happy Friday everyone! Time for another Just For Fun Color challenge - this weeks colors are:

I wanted to try something a little different today so I misted and stamped on fabric - tea dyed muslin to be exact:

I used a mask and misted on the fabric background. The fern was stamped using a black paint dabber. The hinge is grunge board and the butterfly is two layers with grunge paper. That black mesh is actually gutter guard material that I snagged from my hubby a while ago (just being green - not a hoarder).

With this week's Color Challenge Just For Fun is offering a 25% discount for one lucky participant - see the Just for Fun blog for more information. Also visit the other talented designers to see what they created:

Love this! The misting on the fabric looks subtle, but the black stamping really brings it out! Love it!

Love that! I have about 5 yds of muslin & may drag it out. Curious if you misted with Andrionack Color Wash. Hugs, Pat ATT

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really really appreciate it. I too am addicted to stamps, techniques and TH. Unfortunately I am a hoarder. I love what you have done with this challenge. I may give a go at entering this one. Thanks for the heads up. I will be back to visit often. cheers!

Kantahanan is the home of every song. The word kantahanan is derived from the tagalog words "Kanta" which means "Song" and "Tahanan" which means "Home".

It's lovely - I wonder if being on fabric gives a softer effect. I would not have thought of this - I think i've seen some muslin floating about so must experiment.
