For Valentine's day I bought some of the special women in my life some Tim Holtz idea-ology products. Of course, they are not available yet (trying to wait patiently) so I wanted to have a fun way to present their gift:
Artful Artifacts:
Drawer:
Each drawer contained a print out of what was purchased - the hitch fastener opens the draw.
There are 4 Drawers:
Here is a close up:
I added some drunken scotch pieces (arrow, heart and keyhole).
I used the alphabet stamp and Snow Cap pigment ink to create the resist technique in the background.
Oh - most importantly before I sign off - I want to give credit for the fabulous box tutorial! The tutorial can be found on Kirsten's blog.
Tomorrow I'll have another box to share with a completely different look!
Happy Creating!
KAT

Well that is a WOW moment Kathy. That is awesome AND you used that face stamp. That's great. You should show jennifer that one. The box is cool but the way you decorated it is so creative. I took a break from testing to check your blog out - I'm glad I did. Thanks!!!! - Suz

Your drawers are awesome!!! I have the NEXT BEST THING to having TIM come visit. WENDY VECCHI of Studio 490 is coming to my store Sharon's Crop Studio, in Greenwood, Indiana, to teach classes May 14,15, and 16. In case you don't know Wendy, check out her blog at http://studio490art.blogspot.com/
She did the cruise with TIM last fall.
After seeing your blog I feel sure you'll love what Wendy does.
