Cherish Beauty

This is the last card that I made for Rhonda’s birthday…

Cherish Beauty:

This card is made in honor of our Tim Holtz classes… I used Grungeboard, idea-ology embellishments and it has an overall grungy look - this is my favorite card. On the back I put the information for our classes so that she will look at this tag and always remember her gift!

See the leaf vine made from plain grungeboard? It’s a new stamp from Wendy Vecchi - she’s my second favorite artist in this industry (sorry Wendy but Tim is my number one man - Oh - you could be my number one woman!!!!). She recently came out with her own stamp line - if you are looking for some inspiration visit her Studio 490 blog here.

The background colors were achieved by swiping inks on a craft sheet, misting with water and then putting the office tag in the moist inks, letting dry and repeating until I liked the color.

I better put on more sun screen and I hope my credit card is not melting from too much shopping!!! Thanks for visiting!

The Stuff:
Stamps - Ticket to Art (Wendy Vecchi), (rest ISC) Friendships, Majestic Women, Alterable Words, Maple Tree Paintings
Paper - Office Tag
Ink- Background (SU) Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Soft Sky; Timber Brown Stazon, Choc Chip, Mellow Moss, Sage Shadow (SU); Rust, Sky Blue (Brilliance)
Other- Plain Grungeboard, Philosophy tags, swivel clasp, jump
