Flutter - Perfectly Distressed

This card combines a few of my favorite things - a new Technique from Tim Holtz (you can find it here) and a sketch challenge (you can find it here).

Flutter Perfectly Distressed:

Side View of the dimension:

The sketch challenge is Innovative Stamp Creations May challenge. Want to join in the fun and have a chance to win a Free Stamp set? Click here to go to the ISC blog and read all the details - you have until June 7th to participate.

Some card details: The oval in the sketch - I liked how long it was and my nesties are no where near this shape so I thought it would be fun to “tear” out the oval. The flourishes on the side were stamped with distressed ink and then I put one coat of UTEE on them and only partially melted them - this gives a bubbly effect. The blue background is white cardstock with one layer of Wrinkle Free distress, the leaves are what I used Tim’s new Perfect Distress technique on (beautiful glimmer IRL) - these were stamped with Peeled Paint Distress Inks and then I used Bronze perfect pearls. The silhouette butterflies were stamped on the back of the 7 Gypsies paper, adhered to scrap of plastic packaging and cut out.

What have you created lately?
